I try to take a day “off” each week to play. That can be dancing to my favorite audio channel or watching funny movies or videos of places I want to visit. I love to sing and am getting up the courage to do it more.

I’m assuming this is an audience-free performance so far. Send a tape for us to play when you’re ready, Judy!
Retired life can be so much fun as well as challenging. Sounds like you know how to enjoy your retirement. Keep dancing!
Wonderful to sing! I love music. I was a singer-songwriter for most of my life. I played in clubs, coffee houses, had bands, recorded, did studio work. It’s been over 15 years since I played out however. I always had an acoustic piano but I don’t have room for one now–I have a little keyboard. I try to play and sing with myself every so often however these days I seem to be more into playing ambient jazz-like music without words. Music is the most healing thing there is. I have a bunch of music apps on my phone and I explore all kinds of music, plus my kids share their music with me. The world is wide!
