I don’t post long posts but was tempted at times – you all are such great writers so I get intimidated, and I’m a published author too – and still not such a wonderful writer as all of you! Yes, please I enjoy your posts so much if you can keep it going.
Marilyn…I sometimes harbor similar feelings….ideas in my head that transferring to paper creates a block. Then I remember those old expressions we’ve all heard…”nothing ventured, nothing gained”, “don’t rob the world of experiences that can make such a difference to others”.. & voila…a blog is created. Let’s none of us let ourselves get in the way of sharing. It means that much to the rest of us.
Marilyn, one of the benefits of reaching advanced age is the realization that competition and intimidation are over. It’s what you, Marilyn, think that’s important. Inevitably, your thoughts and experience will touch someone else to their benefit. Just let it rip! (I need to keep telling myself the same thing.) Thanks so much for making me think about this!
“So late…so smart”. Keep the presses going Thelma, E.C.is filling a great need and must continue. You must have an understudy you are training to take over when AND IF you retire. We shall continue to write, as you so aptly wrote …let it rip.
