Writing a family history these days; just as much for me as for my grandchildren and daughters. Didn’t realize how much tussle I’ve had with Mother Nature over the years: multiple floods; an earthquake experience, blizzards, multiple brushes with tornadoes; not to mention evacuating to safer locations during Three Mile Island and the Cuban missile crisis. Oh, I forgot about the irony of ‘duck and cover’ for the school kids during the atomic bomb concerns, leave alone the polio epidemic, the dates of which I forgot. NOt a dull life, but no way could I have imagined anything like the current pandemic situation.

We are the historians of the culture! So glad to hear you are recording this for future generations.
I’m glad, too, Carol. I had forgotten or put out of my mind so much history I’ve lived through.
