Some of our mothers were teenagers when women in America were granted the right to vote. We’ve all seen the slow, steady emergence of women as members of congress and even the cabinet over the years. We’ve seen First Ladies of varying degrees of power and influence. Now – the real possibility of a president. What does this mean to you? To the girls – and boys – in your life? How does it feel to witness history at this moment? Tell us.
August: Witnessing History

While I favor women’s political progression, I would never vote for a woman just because she is a woman. If this is what you are doing, it will be a long term detriment to the cause, as initially, a woman is always held to a higher performance standard and widely criticized for the least mistake. The first female president should hopefully be exemplary in every way, have the thick skin of an american alligator, always engage the brain before the mouth, laugh off the attacks of the press and other haters, and have an impeccable character. I really don’t think we have that in Hilary. She is not pro-woman, she is just pro Hillary and power hungry. She is married to a person that has used and abused women for years and continues to defend him and denigrate his victims.
Younger women don’t have the knowledge of all it took to get to this point!!!!! I can’t wait to see what this woman can do……BUT, she will need more Dems in Senate and House!!! Another thing I’ve noticed….It is apparently not possible to have a calm, civil, informed and substantive conversation with many people on the right!! Particularly with those 50 and under. Lacking provable facts, they seem to instantly summon rage and animosity toward any who disagree with them……
just like Trump…..really a scary and dangerous mindset!!!!!
