I would like to see a return of respect for our elder’s opinions, return to being civil to one another, a return, as a secular person would see it, to “a higher power.” It’s isn’t necessarily a good idea to go “backward.” It was once a disaster to someone who couldn’t move forward and let go of the past. We have really smart younger people these days , but they do lack a certain character quality of years gone by. Perhaps we all spend to much time on the focus of what feels good or that which just entertains. Maybe we all could benefit from time spent meditating on our lives; how we could improve a little each day. Thanks for reading, reflecting on the good, and passing it forward.

As I read all the comments I wonder how we can get the younger ones to read along with us?
Wouldn’t that be great!! We’d love to have a blog that interacts with ElderChicks-in-training!
We know we have some younger readers (and occasional writers). Let’s all spread the word as much as possible. We find that when we tell younger people, especially daughters and granddaughters, they love the idea and talk about ElderChicks.
