Is there someplace where the number of people who have responded to a poll is shown? Without this information, the poll results are rather meaningless.

Your comment is appreciated! We thought long and hard about this issue and decided that showing just the percentages was the best protection of privacy while still giving everyone immediate feedback on where each poll stands. While in most cases the responses have been quite high in numbers, some polls, and particularly, some answers have had relatively small responses, and we don’t want our readers to wonder who those one or two people might be who answered a certain way on a poll. We hope our explanation makes sense and that you understand our commitment to keeping the results completely confidential.
